Our Story
A family bakery that grew into a trusted supplier.
Cedar Bakery began as a 1,000 sq. ft bakery producing 500 pitas a day. Founder Aref (Eric) Yehia launched the brand with just two items.
In the 1990s, his sons Mike and Daniel joined and expanded the business into a large-scale operation with over 20 pita variations.
Mike became Sales Director while Daniel managed production. Together they modernized operations and broadened Cedar’s product line.
Today Cedar Bakery balances family values with automation, quality control, and strict food safety.
Founded in 1970, we remain committed to producing some of Canada’s finest pita bread.
